There are two Tag adapter (one blue, one black as following picture shows) for FVDI2 ABRITES Commander, when you use the correct one, we will give you simple tips:

When you use fvdi2 software on the following picture, please choose black tag adapter to connect it;

When you useOBD Terminator software on the following picture, please choose blue tag adapter to connect it;
